1. If you forget the password, you need to reconfigure the router after restoring the factory settings.

2. How to restore the router's factory settings:

When the device is running under power, use a toothpick to gently press and hold the reset button on the router for more than 10 seconds, and then release the button, the device can be restored to the factory configuration and restart automatically.

3. After restoring the factory settings, reconfigure the router and set the WIFI password:

a) The network cable connects the LAN port of the router to the network port of the computer;
b) Open the browser, enter 192.168.1.1 (the IP address of the router), enter the router account and password (see the label or manual on the router box);
c) Click Next;

d) Select PPPoE (ADSL virtual dial-up) in the “Internet mode”, and click Next;

e) Enter the broadband account provided by the broadband operator in the “Internet account”, and enter the broadband password in the “Internet password”;

f) Set the wireless network name in the SSID, select the “WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption method”, and set a wireless password of no less than 8 digits in the “PSK password”;

g) Click “Restart” to set the router successfully;
h) After configuration, connect both ends of the network cable to the modem's LAN port and the router's WAN port.

4. Set the router management password:

a) Open the browser, enter 192.168.1.1 (the IP address of the router), enter the router account and password (see the label or manual on the router box);
b) Expand the “system tools” and click “modify the login password” (modify the password; usually the default password is: admin);

c) Fill in the information according to the actual situation and click “Save”; If the router needs to be restarted, the system will prompt; just press the restart button according to the prompt.
